Nvidia is donating $250 million worth of computing power over five years to support AI safety and security research in the UK, The Guardian reports.

The company is worth roughly $5.5 trillion because nearly everyone building powerful AI needs its chips. Now the shovel merchant is also helping researchers determine whether the gold rush can hack the lawnmower.
